Randy L. Pearson
Randy entered the diamond industry almost 30 years ago after graduating from North Carolina State University in Raleigh with degrees in mechanical, biological and agricultural engineering. For 11 years he managed one of Raleigh’s most established guild jewelry stores and was their diamond buyer and sales manager. Over the years he has completed several Professional Development courses at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Diamonds, Diamond Grading, Colored Stones, Colored Stone Grading, and Gem Identification.
In 1998 he joined the US chapter of Allied Diamonds, Inc. and is currently its general manager. Allied Diamonds is a Registered Supplier for the American Gem Society (AGS), and Randy is a very active member serving on several committees.
Under Randy’s guidance Allied Diamonds had some remarkable achievements, including having a key role in the marketing of the ‘De Beers Millennium Diamond Limited Edition’ and introducing the ‘Internally Flawless’ diamond to the retail consumer. Randy is a diamond authority, having created the ‘Alliance Program’ for top retail jewelers and regularly giving speeches, presentations, and workshops.
In 2015 Randy created Kahro Diamonds to service the diamond needs of the married couple, a project that takes most of his professional time.
Randy lives with his wife, Sherri, four children and two grandchildren in Raleigh. He is an Ordained Deacon at Thanksgiving Baptist Church, and he founded the Boy Scout Troop 422 with which he still volunteers. Randy’s two sons, Luke and Cole, have followed in their father’s footsteps to become Eagle scouts and members of the Order of the Arrow as well. Randy has also been a baseball coach for many years with local youth recreation leagues.
